As mentioned in our other article about same-sex attracted prides, there are many reasons why there are lgbtq+ pride events and celebrations around the world. One of the primary reasons is to honor and promote Diverse visibility, rights, and acceptance. Historically, the LGBTQ+ community has faced discrimination, hostility, and oppression. Every year sees the festive appointment of the former Gay Pride, now known as the Lesbian, Gay, Attracted to both genders, Trans, Queer, Intersex (LGBTQI+) Pride March, a national event that demands matching rights for heterosexuals and LGBTQI+ people.
