Bisexual comic

Bisexual comics can be unyielding to find. You need a list of gay comics to read? No problem. How about Sapphic graphic novels? Easy. But when it comes to looking for bisexual visibility in comics specifically, that can be a bit more challenging. Unless a character&#;s sexuality is explicitly stated or is a part of a storyline (we see them go out people of multiple genders, for example), it can be tricky to judge a character&#;s LGBTQ self. I can definitively utter that two girls digital dating are Sapphic. But are they bi, pan, ace, or lesbians? I don&#;t know. I could presume, but that&#;s never a great thing to accomplish. So for this list, I relied on both characters self identifying, storylines, and a lot of online research. The bi/ pan library was particularly helpful in putting this list together — and might even point you toward some more bi+ comics and graphic novels for you to inspect out.

You&#;ll also notice I didn&#;t include any of the big superhero characters like Wonder Woman or Valkyrie or Jon Kent on this list. That&#;s mostly because I wanted to focus on indie comics, but als

While there&#;s still a lot of progress that needs to be made when it comes to LGBTQIA+ representation in comic books, there are stories out there that film bisexual characters. So, let&#;s go over them!

Of course, there are (very likely) going to be bisexual characters in comic books I don&#;t know about. Please feel free to share the characters I&#;ve missed in the comments section below.

Also, with bisexuality existing on a spectrum, certain characters on this list are likely to fall under the term pansexual, too.

Let&#;s begin with bisexual characters in DC Comics!

John Constantine

John Constantine is definitely a controversial nature when it comes to pinning down his sexuality. He debuted back in and since then has attracted a passionate fandom. His bisexuality was first mentioned in Brian Azzarello&#;s Ashes & Dust in the City of Angels showed him having relationships with men as well.

However, most writers didn&#;t complete anything with the information. His ambiguous sexuality was also used as a reason for the live-action adaptation to not mention Const

How Comic Books Helped Me Appear Out As Bisexual

Comic books are always driving to be more inclusive and more representative of the real world. It might not always be obvious, and there might be roadblocks, but most of the time there are creators in and out of the mainstream working difficult to push the entire industry uphill and make it more welcoming to people of all races, sexualities and gender identities.

The power of stories like these, whether it&#x;s a deep and personal tale wrought with passion, or some fun and flirty fanart, cannot be underestimated. It&#x;s partly thanks to comics that I was able to approach out as bisexual earlier this year.

I&#x;ve written before about my status as a bisexual guy (and how it could be reflected with a dude who talks to fish), but I am a very privileged multi-attracted man. I&#x;m white, cisgender and in a committed relationship with a woman. I pass for straight most of the moment, because if you don&#x;t realize me, you wouldn&#x;t know.

I officially came out as bi first to a friend over drinks, then to another friend via text, and finally to my
