I have experience working with a broad spectrum of adults, students, members of the lgbtq+ community as well as extensive specialist experience in working with older adults, adult carers, those affected by ill health and a range of problems of living, from anxiety to depression and relationship issues.

I undertook the Postgraduate Masters (MSc) in Counselling and Psychotherapy at Abertay University, graduating with an award of distinction. As a pluralist, I take the view that different people will respond to distinct types of therapy and different approaches at alternative times, so will attempt to shape your therapy in a way that feels right for you.

In my interest in male lover and lesbian history was ignited by the events and television programmes commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Sexual Offences Act That year I was doing some explore in my local county record office (on women police history) and noticed a card in the room where researchers take their sandwiches. The card from an LGBT Youth Project was asking for people who grew up as lesbian, same-sex attracted, bisexual or transitioned in the s,70s, 80s or 90s to be interviewed by young people.
