Pittsburgh Black Pride is committed to empowering Shadowy LGBTQ+ individuals and their families throughout Pennsylvania. Our mission is to provide essential educational, social, political, and cultural resources that promote community, support, and advocacy. We strive to cultivate a vibrant and inclusive environment where all individuals can thrive and celebrate their distinctive identities and fostering unity and pride within our diverse community.
Our HISTORY
Since , the Pittsburgh Black Pride (PBP) Association has provided fun, social information, and health education to Black LGBTQIA individuals and families in the City of Pittsburgh and across Southwest Pennsylvania.
PBP began in response to the lack of safe and affirming spaces in the greater Pittsburgh area for Black LGBTQIA people, especially youth and their families. The founding members of PBP sought to create an environment where Black LGBTQIA pe

Kick off Pride month with a multi-day celebration in Pittsburgh! Pittsburgh Pride will accept place May June 2, , across multiple Pittsburgh neighborhoods and featuring vendors, a community parade and free concerts featuring performances by local, national and international artists.
